The Brecon Beacons National Park - Croeso i'r Bannau Brycheiniog!

Ty Glan Yr Afon

In the middle of the National Park

Stay in our 500 year old house within the pretty village of Defynnog at the centre of the National Park.

The house is within a minutes' walk of the village pub with good local food and with easy access to many spectacular but little known walks, plus the renowned caves of Dan-yr-Ogof and the Waterfalls Valley.

Please note that although she is not allowed in the guest bedrooms, we have a small cat that is always keen to meet guests, so we are not suitable for guests with cat allergies.

We have two rooms, a double and a twin, both with own bathrooms. Both have a small tv with freesat, on which you can also pick up freesat radio channels.

For breakfast, we offer local produce where possible, and can accommodate different dietary requirements if advised in advance.

There are some beautiful unfrequented walks for all fitness levels direct from the house and nearby, and we have maps and books if you need to borrow them.

Please visit our website for more details and pictures.
