The Brecon Beacons National Park - Croeso i'r Bannau Brycheiniog!

Beili Helyg Guest House

Luxurious 4* ensuite in secluded and beautiful location.

Beili Helyg is an 18th century stone built farm house. The renovated attached barns offer you beautifully spacious 4* ensuite guest rooms separate from the main house.

There are spectacular views in every direction of the open mountainside of the Brecon Beacons.

Guest rooms have a separate access so you are free to come & go as you please.

There is excellent walking or cycling from the door, and we can provide routes to accommodate all abilities.

Open access land is 5 minutes walk.

We have a boot room and drying facilities, secure cycle lock up.

Walkers and cyclists are welcome.

Guests are welcome to stroll anywhere in the grounds and around our 16 acres of native woodland and meadows: experience clean air, birdsong and peace.

We can help you plan your walking & cycling routes and provide you with a map and printed directions.

We are situated in the central section of the National Park at the head of the beautiful Cwm Cadlan valley which is a National Nature Reserve, in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons.

There are three ensuite guest rooms rooms; two doubles and one twin, which has a further lockable single room attached, to form a unit for three persons.

Beili Helyg is ideal for walking with lots of major walks and more unknown routes nearby.

We offer a drop off service for you to walk/navigate back to Beili Helyg, from Pontneddfechan (a waterfall walk); Dolygaer (the Taff Trail); and Neuadd reservoir (over peaks of Cribyn, Pen y Fan, Corn Du). Please see the website for details.

Caving, cycling, canoeing, climbing, bird watching and horse riding are nearby and fishing is available at rivers and reservoirs for coarse, game and wild trout.

There is rich geology in this limestone area with waterfalls, caves, shake holes, swallow holes, limestone pavements and evidence of the dinas fault.

There are many prehistoric & historic sites to visit. Walk Sarn Helen in the footsteps of the Romans, and visit the impressive standing stones of Maen Madoc & Maen Llia.

Relaxing and general lethargy are also recommended. So why not sit in the guest lounge with the weekend papers or the novel you've been trying to read, with your toes pointed toward a log burning fire and a glass of your favourite tipple (we provide free corkage).

Packed lunches & evening meals available.
