Dan y Parc Farm Bed and Breakfast

Dan y Parc is a 17th century farmhouse, set in 14 acres of wood and farmland in the heart of the Welsh valleys, near the historic market town of Llandovery in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons.

The Crychan and Halfway Forests, with their many miles of horse riding, carriage driving, cycling and walking routes, is within reach in minutes.

Dan y Parc has its own delightful woodland walk which, with its natural waterfall, provides a beautiful place in which to sit and relax at any time of the year.

At Dan y Parc we have twin and double en-suite bedrooms, and a single bedroom with private adjacent bathroom, all have tea/coffee making facilities and colour television.

We also provide WRTA approved stabling facilities for horses.

In winter the cosy lounge, with its beamed ceiling and wood burning fire, is a comfortable place to relax after a busy day's activity, or you can choose to watch a movie from the large library of DVDs available. In the summer there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains and watch the Red Kites circling overhead.

We're happy to accommodate guests' well behaved dogs - we're dog owners ourselves.

Breakfast is served in our light and spacious dining room. Choose from either a full cooked option, with bacon and sausages supplied from the local Llandovery butcher, together with our own free range eggs, or continental. Vegetarian, or other special dietary needs? Then let us know. We also serve evening meals on request.

Dan y Parc is ideally situated for touring South, West and Mid Wales.

The area is ideal for all types of activities, walking, cycling, horse riding, carriage driving, bird spotting, or sightseeing.

For cyclists we have secure storage and can provide packed breakfasts/lunches if required.
