Bridge Cafe

Cafe and rooms for hikers and cyclists in the Brecon Beacons.

We are situated less than five minutes walk from the centre of Brecon, a compact market town with all the usual facilities: pubs, great outdoor shops, bike shop, cycle hire, theatre and cinema. The cafe is a characterful town house dating from the 16th century, updated to include decent showers and a proper coffee machine.

We have the essentials to enjoy your stay in the National Park. Log fire, comfy sofas, home baking and hearty casseroles.

There are 3 rooms for guests: Rm 1 is a large double en-suite with sofa and powerful shower.
Rm 2 has a double bed and is next door to a large bathroom with bath and shower, which it shares with room 3.
Room 3 at the back of the house has two single beds, and shares the bathroom with room 2.

We offer good value for money as we are here for fun as much as business, having fled the city for a healthier life in the hills.

We both had a dream about running some sort of lodge/chalet for mountain bikers for a long time.

We have tried to offer the sort of place we would have wanted to find, for a snack, a meal, or a long weekend. It won't suit everyone, but if you have read this far, it might be just what you are looking for.
