The Baskerville Arms is just 1.3 miles from the famous town of Hay-on-Wye, known throughout the world as the 'Town of Books'. This unique town with its maze of narrow ancient streets, now houses over 30 bookshops, a variety of galleries, antique and gift shops and numerous cafes and tearooms.

There is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of the country. Whether you'd like to go canoeing on the River Wye, tackle the Black Mountains by mountain bike, shoot at clay pigeons or perhaps take an exhilarating walk and then relax in our comfortable lounge bar, there is something for all ages!

We pride ourselves on good local produce, cooked from fresh in our own kitchens by our chefs. Sit in the bar or the more intimate reading room restaurant. We are also a public house, so go for one of the real ales on offer or take a look at our wine list!

Alternatively, we can cater for 10-200 for that anniversary, birthday or wedding reception. We are also licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies too!
