The Blaenafon Cheddar Company
We are a specialist cheddar cheese company based in the World Heritage site of Blaenafon, South Wales. At present we produce eight very distinctive cheddars and four varieties of goat's cheese. All our cheeses are hand made at our shop in Broad Street, Blaenafon.

Our Pwll Mawr cheddar is actually matured at the bottom of the mine shaft at Big Pit mining museum and can be bought at their gift shop.
Our cheeses are flavoured with Penderyn Welsh whisky, Welsh white wine, Reverend James ale and other local ingredients. The four heritage cheddars are coated in different coloured waxes with scenes of Blaenafon's industrial heritage on the labels. Individually or collectively our cheddars would make an ideal gift.

Each cheese is a truckle, that is 8 ounces / 200 grams in weight. The price of our cheddars is £3.50 each.
If you order the Heritage set of 4 it is £12.
The goat's cheeses (only available in the UK) retail at £5.00.
