A collection of Josef Herman’s Artwork from the early Glasgow years. Drawings from the Foundation’s collection and from private collections.
Also on display a collection of Miners Banners on loan from the National Miners Library of Wales & Photographs of Josef Herman at work by Llew Morgan.
A comprehensive exhibition showing a unique collection of Josef Herman’s work alongside the banners of the miners and photographs of Herman at work by Llew Morgan.
Here Herman’s drawings create an atmospheric collection of workers, nature and industrial scenes from different points in his career. He documents life and animates memories. This exhibition is held in May to commemorate Herman’s affiliation to the workingman as his inspiration.
