Outdoor Photography Weekend Break

@ The Hill

Set in four acres of countryside and overlooking the town of Abergavenny and the Blorenge Mountain, The Hill is a delightful place for a weekend activity break.

The Hill offers a range of day, weekend and week-long breaks covering a variety of subjects, there is something to suit everyone.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Nick Jenkins is a professional landscape photographer with work published in books, magazines, calendars and cards. He leads photographic holiday breaks for several companies around the UK but his 'photographic home' is in and around the Brecon Beacons.

Nick is an Associate of both the Royal Photographic Society and the Welsh Photographic Federation. Nick has a relaxed and informal style but makes it his business to spend as much time as possible with individuals to ensure that as much as is possible is learned during the weekend break. Help and guidance provided gives everyone the opportunity to learn at their own pace.

ABOUT THE WEEKEND

There is plenty of friendly and informative tuition, appropriate to whatever levels of skill you may possess. Much is learned in a group of like-minded enthusiasts in a beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Autumn here can be truly evocative and what better way to capture it than with professional help and guidance!

The objective of this photo weekend is to show you the tricks and tips to help you understand how your camera can help you take some stunning pictures. We will look together at how to compose sharp and well constructed pictures. There will be plenty of time for individuals to receive one:one tuition

By the end of the break you will be able to take photographs, using all the techniques we will have covered, of which you can be proud.
