A Castell, a Dragon & Views from Rhos Dirion Guided Walk
Visit the site of Castell Dinas believed to be the highest Norman Castle in Wales before ascending a ridge & walking to Pen Rhos Dirion for fine views at lunchtime. Bring packed lunch. Please come suitably equipped for variable weather conditions.
Length, Grade & Ascent: 9m / 14km, Energetic, 470m. Meet: Castle Inn, Pengenffordd (SO 174296) car park charges apply.

Bluebells & Lunch! Guided Walk
A circular walk through the delightful Cwm Oergwm, which should be carpeted with bluebells, plus a chance of Sunday lunch at the White Swan. Booking essential if you would like lunch. Please come suitably equipped for variable weather conditions. Length, Grade & Ascent: 7m / 11km, Moderate, 250m. Meet: The White Swan, Llanfrynach (SO 076 257).

Brecon Town Past & Present
Family-friendly Guided Walk
A town walk, visiting sites of distinction, discovering Brecons fascinating past and residents of renown. No dogs please. Part of the Fforest Fawr Geopark Festival programme of events. Length / Grade: Approximately 2 miles / Access for all.
Meet: Canal Basin, Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon.

Carreg Cennen Castle & the Black Mountain Guided Walk
Tri-diversity: Archaeological, biological and geological characteristics all feature strongly in the west of the Geopark. This circular walk from the spectacular setting of Carreg Cennen will take you out on to the Black Mountain and back again, looking at some of the best examples Fforest Fawr Geopark has to offer to illustrate the strong links between rocks, people and place. Bring packed lunch. Please come suitably equipped for variable weather conditions. Part of the Fforest Fawr Geopark Festival programme of events.
Length, Grade & Ascent: 7m / 11.2km, Moderate with some rough terrain under foot, 200m.
