Come along, enjoy the sunshine (we hope!) - the atmosphere and enjoy the quality locally produced food and drink . All available to sample and buy.
There are so many excellent food and drink producers in this beautiful part of Wales that we thought we would bring them all together for a wonderful celebration and display them for you all to enjoy.
Hay-on-Wye will be buzzing on bank holiday weekend with thousands of people as our Food Festival coincides with the first (and busiest!) weekend of Hay Literature Festival.
We aim to have over 50 producers from Wales and the Borders, displaying and sampling their food and drink, local Craft stalls - all food related, Chef Demonstration, Children's hands on cookery workshops, Local Schools Fair-Trade fruit stall and Gwynt-y-ddraig cider and apple bar.

The aim of this festival is to bring awareness of food that is locally produced on our door steps, to encourage consumption of local foods cutting down on food miles and reducing our carbon foot-print and to Promote Sustainable farming.
