Golf
The Brecon Beacons National Park boasts eight golf courses in and around the area.
With the Ryder Cup looming in 2010 the area is very well located for golfers to come and discover this part of Wales and the courses that will be close to the championships in a couple of year's time.
Golf in Wales is about the pleasure principle. Ian Woosnam underlines this particular Welsh attitude by saying,
“There is more to golf than playing. Our clubhouses share a special talent for hospitality. Uplifted noses are not encouraged. We specialise more in laughter and banter. Wales - golf as it should be.”
