Sennybridge & Trecastle

Sennybridge & Trecastle are situated on the western side of The National Park as you head into Carmarthenshire with sennybridge sitting at the head of the Upper Swansea Valley

Sennybridge is designated one the National Park's mountain biking centres and with The Sarn Helen route , the Crychan Forest Trails and The Usk Reservoir this area of the Park is a must for mountain bikers. All of these routes are also suitable for horses with both Crychan and the Usk reservoir having areas to park horse boxes and corral your horses.

North of Sennybridge and at Crychan there is also acces to The Epynt Way which is a permissive bridleway encircling the Sennybridge Defence Training Area

For those of you who prefer more leisurely pastimes there is the antiques centre at Trecastle and a farm shop and cafe opposite. In Defynog there is the Old School with it's Art Gallery, Craft Centre & Victorian Tea Rooms.
