The Upper Swansea Valley
The Upper Swansea Valley is the hidden secret of the Brecon Beacons National Park - an area connecting the Swansea region with the Usk hinterland. A valley extraordinary for it's scenery and diversity!

The Cribarth Mountain - often described as resembling a sleeping giant looks down over it's heart, the river Tawe travels through it and the reservoir at Cray makes a magnificent statement as you arrive from the north.
Internationally renowned for it's caving systems and famous waterfalls close by the area is one for adventure and discovery.

The valley is part of The Fforest Fawr Geopark
There are activities whether you are under 10 or over 60!
Make sure you take time to stop at Criag y nos Country Park - The Unusual Food Company are opening a new cafe in 2009 and visit The National Showcaves Centre at Dan yr Ogof.
